How It Started

When you're raising a child alone, every decision matters. I started Painting Plus because I knew what I wanted for my own home and what I saw other contractors skipping over. The high-end materials, the attention to detail, the promise you could actually trust—I wanted to build that. It wasn't about doing more jobs. It was about doing the right ones, the way they deserve to be done.

I started with interior and exterior painting. That was the foundation. But over 30 years, I realized our clients needed more. A kitchen renovation doesn't make sense without flawless drywall. Cabinet painting became its own craft. Pressure washing showed what was actually underneath. Each service grew because it solved a real problem we saw on the job, not because it looked good on a marketing list.

This became a family operation. That was never the plan—it was the result. When you build something that matters, people notice. People want to be part of it. Now it's not just my name on the work. It's ours.
